I Should Have

Things get in the way
Each and everyday
Ordinaire stuff we all get into
Wouldn't it be sad if all you ever had
was a stone on the grave that said, ' I should have.'
Perfect, perfect Lord that I did not take the time to praise
Any crazy thing I did not do, I should have
Any dirty lie I did not straight in the eye and tell the whole truth
I should have
I am always on the run some thing get lost some things get done
But if I did not have love for the son, I should have, I should have
If I never came out and said to each and everyone I love how much I really do.

Maybe this one chance is all we rally have
Maybe all you get is what you give to is what you give to
but I ain't going to cry
I gave my life to God
I kiss the world goodbye
