Silent Room(Death Poetry)

07:51
By: Peer_baba

A room filled with silence
With walls the color of mahogany

Sits an old piano in the corner
Playing a broken melody

Stars shine through the windows
As night comes alive

The faint sounds of solitude
Make an attempt to survive

A candle slowly melts
As the fire burns away

The smell of misery lingers
Hoping its presence can stay

Dedicated to Sean Gritters - You've inspired me, and I admire and respect you so much. I've been the happiest I've ever been in my life because of you. It's because of you that I'm ready to leave the past behind. I love you!
